Introduction

SBI PO 2022 recruitment exam will be conducted by State Bank of India (SBI) for selecting candidates for the post of PO (Probationary Officers). Eligibility Criteria:

The candidates are required to fulfil the below criteria in order to be eligible for the SBI PO selection process:

1. Age Limit:

The candidate applying for SBI PO must be 21 Years to 30 years of age.

2. Educational Qualification:

• The applicant must be a graduate in any aforesaid discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government as specified in the notification.

• Those applicants who are in their Final year/Semester of their Graduation can also apply subject to the condition that if they are called for interview, they must be able to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination.

• Applicants having Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing Integrated Dual Degree certification must be on or before August 2022. Also, Candidates having Chartered Accountant certification may also apply.

Exam Pattern

SBI PO Exam Pattern 2022

Candidates must be aware of the exam pattern and marks distribution for Preliminary and Mains exam before appearing for the SBI PO 2022 Examination process.

The examination process of SBI PO consists of 3 stages:

a. Prelims Examination,
b. Mains Examination
c. Interview round
The structure of exams is as follows:

SBI PO Prelims 2022 Examination:

This Prelims exam will be conducted in online mode wherein the candidates are required to attempt 100 questions having 1 mark each, in a composite duration of 60 minutes. It is to be noted that the sectional cut-offs in the Prelims Exam has been removed now and the overall score of all 3 sections shall be considered for selection to the next round of recruitment process.

SBI PO Mains Pattern 2022:

The Mains examination will also be conducted in online mode & will have one objective and a descriptive test.

Objective Test Pattern:

The objective test section in Mains Examination will consist of 155 Objective questions having a total of 200 marks and a separate Descriptive online Test having 2 questions for 50 marks.

• Reasoning Ability:- Seating Arrangements, Tabulation, Logical Reasoning, Syllogism, Input-Output, Coding-Decoding, Alphanumeric Series, Blood Relations, Ranking, Data Sufficiency, Distance & Direction, Coded Inequalities, and Verbal Reasoning.
• English Language:– Reading Comprehension, Cloze Test, Double Fillers, Error Spotting, Sentence Correction, Para Jumbles, Paragraph Completion, Para Summary, Sentence Connector, and Vocabulary.
• Computers:- Internet, Memory, Keyboard Shortcuts, Computer Related Terms Abbreviations, Computer Fundamentals, Microsoft Office and Related Word Processing, Spreadsheet Applications, Computer Hardware and Software, Operating Systems and GUI Basics, Networking, Computer Network, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows.

• Current Affairs:- This section compiles three different sub-sections which are current affairs, banking & financial affairs, and static awareness.

1. Current Affairs: It includes topics such as important bank news, economic affairs, national and international news, recent state affairs, agreements, visits, awards and honors, summits & conferences, and obituaries.
2. Banking & Financial Awareness: This topic consists of financial news, Banking Abbreviations, the Banking Regulation Act 1949, About & Functions of RBI Policy Rates, Types of Accounts, Negotiable instruments act 1881, Money market instruments, priority sector lending, financial inclusion, Money market instruments, Banking Ombudsman scheme 2006 & more.
3. Static Awareness: It includes topics like International Organisations, Important Days, Capital & Currency, Agreement & Deals, Books & Authors, Honours & Awards, National & International Appointments, Famous Obituaries, etc

How To Apply

SBI PO Apply Online 2022

Pre-Requisites for Applying Online for SBI PO 2022:

Before applying for SBI PO 2022, applicants must make sure that they should have a valid e-mail ID and an active mobile number which will be needed for receiving all kind of communications related to availability of call letters/ advices from SBI via e-mail/ SMS. It must be kept working till the final declaration of results.

Steps for Applying Online for SBI PO 2022:

(1) Candidates need to visit the official website of SBI for applying online for SBI PO 2022.

(2) Candidates will have to click on “CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION” to register their application by entering their basic mandatory information in the online application form for SBI PO 2022 like Candidate’s name, Father’s Name, DOB, E-mail Address, etc .

(3) After successful registration, log into your account using the credentials sent to your email ID/mobile no & fill all the mandatory information in the application form like educational details, your previous experience detail(if any) etc.

(4) After that you need to upload your scanned Photograph, Signature, Left thumb impression, etc.

(5) Applicants are advised to carefully fill all the details in the online application as no change in any of the data filled in the online application will be possible/ entertained after clicking on FINAL SUBMIT Button.

Guidelines for Scanning Photograph and Signature

At the time of applying online, applicant must possess a scanned (digital) image of his/ her photograph and signature as per the specifications given in the notification of SBI PO 2022. Online application shall not be entertained unless the applicant uploads his photo and signature as per specification.

Note: If the face of the candidate in the photograph or signature is not clear his candidature might get rejected. In such cases, applicants must edit their application form and again re-upload their photograph or signature for successfully submitting the application.

Salary

SBI PO Salary 2022:

SBI PO Salary 2022 includes a basic pay of Rs.27,620/- (with 4 advance increments) in the scale of 23700-980/7-30560-1145/2-32850-1310/7-42020 as applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I. Along with salary you will also get other benefits like DA, HRA, CCA etc. as per the norms laid down by govt. There will be a probation period of 2 years for a candidate recruited as SBI PO.
